The overall objectives of this module (both the pre-work and the taught session) is

  1. To provide an overview of the Performance Appraisal process at the Royal Free and the importance of incorporating the world class care values
  2. To explore the benefits of appraisal and what makes the process meaningful
  3. To understand the different parts of the process and what is involved (including wellbeing conversation)
  4. To understand what needs to happen before, during and after appraisal
  5. To signpost to additional information and guidance
  6. Increasing performance, where should we focus
  7. Improving feedback conversations
